Incredible!

Strengths: unparalleled performance and comfort, great warranty (2yr)

Weakness: none

I have used these earphones extensively, and previously used E4Cs from the same company. The sound quality is the best, just read the reviews. When mine broke (the black plastic piece that holds the foam eartip snapped off) Shure replaced them for no cost!

fantastic iems!

Strengths: bass, and bass!

Weakness: high end roll-off

what can I say? this is probably the only IEMs that can give you the fullest bass experience, the tri-driver design really makes a difference. you get a lot of details for the mid-low end sound while it's being well-controlled. however, the highs suffer a 'shure signature' roll off. which means you are not going to expect sparkles on the high side, well, the details are not really missing, they...

Very nice

Strengths: Clarity, sounds like you are right there listening to the music or hearing someone speak right in your presence. The cord is thicker than most earphones which helps not getting tangled.

Weakness: The high price tag

Sound quality, smooth, fits nicely in ears. Hands down the sound is fantastic. I am not sold on the Push To Hear box, feel it's a bit flimsy and rather large. Of course it works for what it is. All in all, wonderful set of earphones. The best so far has been the sound isolating really works rather well. My main use is hooking up to iPod and running, pretty much have able to not hear the immediate...

Best Earphones!!!

Strengths: Nice fit! More comfortable & balanced feel compared to e3c style. Excellent audio quality! Full bodied bass. Clear, crisp mids and highs. Huge improvment over e3c with the three-driver design.

Weakness: A little expensive! Push To Hear box could be smaller and lighter.

I have been using the e3c for 7 months. I decided to give these a try. HUGE improvement! If you want top-notch audio quality in a comfortable sound-isolating earphone then buy these and you will not regret it! Sure, the price is quite high, but if you consider how much you will use them (and enjoy them!), it is not so expensive. Also, do you travel in noisy environments? These will help keep you...

Quick Transaction - Best deal I could find

Strengths: Ordered on Thu - Shipped Fri - Arrived Mon(but i missed the mailman, picked it up on Tue) -This was the cheapest price I found for these headphones, great deal.

This item arrived quickly after I ordered it. Again, this is a great price for these earphones. The seller answered all questions quickly. Packaged well. The e500s are great so far. I upgraded from e3's. At first the 500's sounded good but it wasn't till I compared them to the e3s that I realized how good these are. Very detailed sound, I notice an overall improved quality of sound and gotta love...

E500PTH Noise Isolating Headphones (Ear Buds, 119...

Strengths: Well designed, practical.

Weakness: Should spend several minutes actually reading the directions.

Improved by getting the custom fit ear pieces from an audiologist. Able to block out extraeneous noise and great on an airplane or at home. Replaced all other sound cancelling ear phones.

WOW. If you appreciate music you'll want a pair of...

Strengths: Superb sound, clear vocals and ample bass. Includes the Push-To-Hear module at no extra cost (compared to the SE530s where it's $50 more)

Weakness: Expensive, but a bargain if you can find them under $300.

I bought a pair of Shure e3c's a few years ago and my ears have never been the same. I thought I was crazy to spend $120 on earbud until I popped them in my ear. Then I thought I was nuts putting those distorted $20 bargain buds in my ears all these years. As luxury products go the e3Cs spoiled me and left me wondering what even better headphones would sound like. When I say the E500PTHs on sale...

Best Sound Ever!

Strengths: Clarity of all tones; comfort in wearing; strong (but not boomy) bass

Weakness: The sleeves sometimes pop off the stem... I've had the sleeves get stuck in the ear canal a couple of times... not good

As pretty much every other review you'll read states, these little guys put out some incredible, amazing sound. Worth every penny. If you're listening to them, and you're not really sensing that what you're hearing is markedly improved over other listening experiences, I challenge the source of the music. My first listening experiences were impressive, but not THAT impressive. Then I started...

Great sounding earphones

Strengths: Very good sound. Easy to use.

Weakness: overpriced compared to similar products

Definitely a great set of earphones that deliver great sound. Product packaging is very impressive and the earphones are easy to use once you select the right set of earplugs that best fit your ears. While sound quality is great there are other earphones that cost less and deliver similar results.
